What is Gestalt Therapy?
Gestalt therapy is a therapeutic approach developed by Fritz Perls in the 1950s. It focuses on how we perceive the world, organize our experiences, and relate to ourselves and others.
Gestalt therapy emphasizes the present moment, self-awareness, and the acceptance of emotions. It invites you to explore what is happening here and now in order to better understand your patterns, blockages, and needs, and to regain greater freedom and authenticity in how you engage with the world.
During our sessions, we focus on:
- the here and now,
- self-awareness,
- emotions and bodily sensations,
- relationships with others.
In Gestalt therapy, a problem is not seen simply as a symptom to eliminate, but an adaptive response that deserves to be understood, felt, and updated.
The goal is not just to explain the past, but to bring movement and vitality back into the present.

What can you expect from Gestalt therapy?
Gestalt therapy can support you during times of distress, transition, or relational difficulty. It can also help with more specific challenges, such as alcohol addiction or the experience of living abroad. It aims to help you bring harmony between what you feel and what you think.
and your thoughts.
Why is Gestalt Therapy Relevant Today?
We live in a time defined by speed, hyperconnectivity, and constant performance. Everything moves fast, we are expected to respond quickly, understand quickly, and heal quickly.
In this context, Gestalt therapy offers almost an act of resistance: slowing down, feeling, and simply being present.
In the social media era where carefully curated images emerge, it encourages a return to a more authentic experience of yourself, placing your uniqueness and authenticity at the center.
Gestalt therapy helps you reconnect with your body in a highly mentalized daily life that values control and performance, while giving space to vulnerability, doubt, and genuine human experience.
