Gestalt & Sport

A space to listen to your body, honor your limits, and restore your energy — at a pace that feels right for you.

Connecting through movement

My sessions are not focused solely on performance or aesthetics. They are also an invitation to fully inhabit your body, listen to your sensations, and acknowledge both your limits and your resources.

Movement becomes a way to connect with yourself in a new way, restore vitality, and cultivate a more mindful and respectful relationship with your body.

I offer personalized sessions tailored to your level, goals, and personal history. I will also provide exercises to practice before and after sessions to extend the work and support your progress.

The benefits of movement for depression

Exercise is more than just shaping the body. It supports your overall well-being, helping you find balance physically, mentally, and emotionally. It can:

  • Boost your energy day to day.
  • Improve the quality of your sleep.
  • Release endorphins, your body’s natural “feel-good” hormones.
  • Help you stay grounded in the present moment.
  • Foster social connections, an essential human need.
Get moving to
regain your momentum.

The connection with Gestalt

Gestalt therapy is powerful because it emphasizes what we are experiencing here and now. The lived experience takes center stage, with awareness of our body, sensations, and emotions. In the present moment, we focus on our breath, our movement, and our vital energy.

Our emotions are expressed through the body, and we learn to listen to its signals. The body becomes a space for integration, presence, and connection with oneself.

The aim of Gestalt therapy is not to analyze or judge thoughts or emotions, but to truly feel them. By learning to fully experience our emotions, we paradoxically learn not to be overwhelmed by them.

Exercise can become a natural extension of this approach.

Through movement, the body communicates, revealing our energy, resistance, fatigue, as well as our strength and capacity for vitality.

I particularly enjoy working on muscle strengthening through slow, controlled movements performed in full awareness.

Feeling your limits to feel alive

In a world that constantly pushes us to go further, faster, and harder, learning to sense your limits becomes a profoundly conscious act.

We learn to listen to fatigue, noticing, for example, the burn in our muscles. When it becomes too strong, we know it’s time to pause. This is not just a physical signal, it is also an experience of our existence.

When I sense the limits of my body:

  • I feel where I begin.
  • I feel where I stop.
  • I feel what is possible.
  • I feel what is not.

Within this boundary, I encounter myself. Exercise allows us to recognize our strengths as well as our vulnerabilities.

Feeling alive does not mean endlessly pushing your limits. It means meeting them, listening to them, and knowing how to respect them. Vulnerability is not a weakness; it is the ability to show yourself as you are, with your emotions and needs.
