Who I am
I’m Olivia Zulke, a British/French Gestalt therapist. I work with adults and adolescents, and I also support English-speaking expatriates living in France.
and Self-Awareness
My Background
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a sound engineer, singer, and musician, a passion that still inspires me today. Personal challenges, along with a deep search for meaning, gradually guided me toward therapy, and ultimately to Gestalt.
I have always had a strong connection to my body and a heightened sensitivity. This naturally led me to sport, which I quickly fell in love with. It taught me to listen to my body, the place where emotions are stored and revealed, to respect myself, and to take care of my well-being. In this context, Gestalt became an obvious path for me.
Today, I combine my work as a therapist with coaching in sports, offering an approach that integrates body awareness, emotions, and self-consciousness.

My podcast
Les détours d'Olivia
In Les détours d’Olivia, I explore questions of meaning, vulnerability, connection, and what shapes our experience in today’s world.
Trough my podcast “Les détours d’Olivia”, I share personal reflections on topics such as meaning, vulnerability, addiction, and our fundamental need for connection. Drawing from my own journey and everyday observations, I explore questions we all face: What is happiness? How can we continue to dream in a saturated world? How can we find meaning in a society often divided?
I discuss contemporary tensions, excess and urgency, that can distance us from ourselves and sometimes lead to addictive patterns. At the heart of these reflections is a constant idea: our universal need for love, recognition, and belonging.
Les détours d’Olivia is also an intimate and authentic space where I share my own path with transparency, in the hope that these reflections resonate with others and open new ways of understanding, connection, and meaning.
